"Please find enclosed a US $10 money order for Fonts Manager 3.7 (single user fee). Although I have preferred making payments through Kee Nethery in the past, I didn't realize his commission was quite that high. So here is all the money for you, what little there is of it; $10 seems so little to pay for a program that I have been needing for a long time. Fonts Manager is slick, and a good candidate to be part of a future Mac OS (a la Extensions Manager).
Yours truly,"

"You might want to get some sort of plug onto MacInTouch and such about how Fonts Manager works with (Mac) OS 8 while Symantec's Suitcase doesn't. Especially a byline next to the lists of extensions and utilities that no longer work.
I've been using Suitcase, but I'm very excited about OS 8, and I'm not waiting for Symantec to update Suitcase before I buy the new system. I'm downloading Fonts Manager tonight, and going to CompUSA ... to buy OS 8 tomorrow.
Thanks,"

"Thanks for your fast response (and, on a Sunday, too)!
I'm very disappointed with Adobe's new ATM 4.0 Deluxe; some of its features break new ground, but strictly as a fonts management tool, it seems quirky and overly-complicated. I'm hopeful that your newest version of Fonts Manager does the job without ATM's overhead. The $10 fee makes it easy to do the right thing, too. I seem to remember encountering problems with an earlier version of FM, 'bout a year ago (slowness/AppleScript) but I'm ready for a fresh look; I'd dearly love to part with my $10 bucks this time!"

"Thanks for the prompt reply. The copy I sent you did have an accent over the 'e', so the message must have met a 'delete unwanted/foreign characters' setting somewhere during transit. The code, as you observed, was the problem. I had recorded it minus the '1' digit after the '9'. I appreciated the Binhexed attachment, even though I had just downloaded this most recent version to update, and the fact that you took the time to attach it impresses me with your professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency.
Again I thank you."

"Thanks for the authorization codes. Installs have gone relatively flawlessly. I had a couple of problems on three machines -- but not due to FM. Seems they had fonts within folders in the System:Fonts folder or had other files in there (one person had word processor files in there).

"I downloaded Fonts Manager 3.6.2 from the Internet today and have just spent the last few hours trying it out. Maybe I haven't given it a full enough try, but as of now I can't say warmly enough how pleased I am with its performance and the whole concept behind it.
I use an original Mac Classic (68K) with System 7.1 and only 4 megs of RAM, so I'm particularly wary of how much RAM my applications and utilities take up. I happen to believe that truly efficient computing should be done with less RAM, not more, and any font utility that contributes to that end, I'm interested in. I've tried both Suitcase and Master Juggler, and what I get from them usually is system crashes. But Fonts Manager seems to do all the basic set-making I need quickly and correctly and simply. And no, I don't mind restarting the computer to activate different font configurations. Well done, sir.
I would make only one tentative suggestion: for those users who have no experience with font manipulation a brief manual (maybe two or three pages of TeachText) -- in addition to or in place of the Help file -- might be in order.
The licensing agreement for Fonts Manager in the version I have specifies a fee of (only!) $10.00, but I'm enclosing a little extra with my registration, because I think the sharing of such intelligence of design should be rewarded.
Thanks for making my Christmas a little merrier. I hope yours is, too."
